Advanced Certificate in Business with marketing (QQI Level 6)
This full-time one-year programme is designed to enable successful learners to gain an in-depth knowledge of the role and function of business management and marketing management within different business environments, while also looking at the strategic marketing environment of a range of businesses and applying marketing theories and practices to the marketing environment of product and service companies. On successful completion, learners will develop knowledge and critical evaluation skills in the application of business management and marketing strategies to real-life scenarios. Key areas of study are business, marketing management, economics and team leadership alongside advanced IT. The programme may enhance opportunities in securing an apprenticeship in Retail Supervision roles.

€80 QQI Level 6 Certification Fee. (Medical Card holders or those in receipt of a Social Welfare payment are exempt from this Certification Fee.)
VTOS: If you are over 21 years of age, are unemployed and have been getting certain social welfare payments for at least 6 months you can apply for the Vocational Training and Opportunities Scheme (VTOS). Successful applicants can receive a VTOS payment for the duration of the course, instead of their social welfare payment. Small meal and travel allowances may also apply.
