Sustainable Construction Technology (QQI Level 5)
This one year full-time programme will introduce students to the world of Construction. The programme examines construction materials and safe methodologies, with emphasis on sustainable energy efficient dwellings and green technologies. Students will also attend our purpose built engineering training workshop for one full day weekly. Here you will examine a range of different construction methods, calculate the quantities of material required to construct a domestic dwelling, create AutoCAD drawings and experience first-hand the application of renewable energy technologies.

€50 QQI Level 5 Certification Fee – Medical Card holders or those in receipt of a Social Welfare payment are exempt from this Certification Fee.
VTOS: If you are over 21 years of age, are unemployed and have been getting certain social welfare payments for at least 6 months you can apply for the Vocational Training and Opportunities Scheme (VTOS). Successful applicants can receive a VTOS payment for the duration of the course, instead of their social welfare payment. Small meal and travel allowances may also apply.
