Advanced Certificate in Business WITH INSURANCE (QQI Level 6)

This full-time one year programme is designed to enable successful learners to gain an in-depth knowledge of the role and function of business management within different business environments and in the theory and practice of insurance to enable the learner to work under supervision in a variety of insurance contexts. It will provide learners with the knowledge, skill and competence necessary to explore the range of products and services in the insurance industry. Key areas of study are business, insurance, economics and team leadership alongside advanced I.T skills. The programme may enhance opportunities in securing an apprenticeship in the area of insurance.

€80 QQI Level 6 Certification Fee.  (Medical Card holders or those in receipt of a Social Welfare payment are exempt from  this Certification Fee.)

VTOS: If you are over 21 years of age, are unemployed and have been getting certain social welfare payments for at least 6 months you can apply for the Vocational Training and Opportunities Scheme (VTOS). Successful applicants can receive a VTOS payment for the duration of the course, instead of their social welfare payment.  Small meal and travel allowances may also apply
