Course Description
This one-year part time programme (6M2007) is specifically designed for people who wish to work in a supervisory capacity in a childcare environment, or to obtain an advanced knowledge of childcare studies.

Fee
Please note that there is 70% funding available for this course under Skills to Advance, thus reducing the fee to €360.
Entry Requirements
Learners must have a QQI Level 5 Certificate in Childcare and must be working in a childcare environment. All applicants are subject to an interview and an online assessment. Garda vetting is also required.

Progression
On successful completion of this programme, learners can apply to third-level Institutions to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education as a mature learner, or under the Higher Education Links Scheme.
Career Options
Holders of a QQI Level 6 will have the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue a variety of management career options in the field of childcare.
Frequency
Tuesday & Thursday evenings, 6:45pm to 9:45pm and 10 Saturdays (full days), over 30 weeks – October 2021 to June 2022.
